From Sapporo
1) It is about 3 hours 30 minutes to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station on the JR Hakodate Main Line limited express Super Hokuto. It arrives at Kikonai Station after the transfer to the Shinkansen in about 13 minutes. A 3-minute walk.
2) It is about 3 hours 30 minutes to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station on the JR Hakodate Main Line limited express Super Hokuto. After riding the Southern Hokkaido Railroad, it arrives at Kikonai Station in about one hour. A 3-minute walk.
From Tokyo
Ride the Hokkaido Shinkansen Hayabusa. It arrives at Kikonai Station in about four hours.
